In my last  blogpost, we looked  at “A Good Start…Online Business“. Prior to focusing on “Making Money Online “ in depth, we need to have our own business vision, what identity or branding we want to be known in the market place and how enthusiastic are we of this business venture?

This week topic is  “Define Your Money Making Business Model”.

Most people who embark on any business (online or offline) venture, have certain aspirations on what  they really want to achieve.

It can be one or more of the following:-

• To live your life the way that feels right and true to You!
• To work because one loves to and not have to
• There are money to be made
• It  satisfies the personal need for fulfillment in your own life
• It provides an avenue of excitement and joy in working
• To prove to oneself or others that they have the guts to follow their dream
• To seek financial independence, long term gain, short term pain

On top of that, there is a hope that it could be achieved in much easier and less painful  way. with one or more of the following:-

• Sell to the masses with popular niche quality products most people need and want
• It could be done with minimum effort, least time and little money to be spent
• It has potential to make money – 24hrs and 7 days a week
• It has high profit margins and rates of return
• Difficult for competitors to duplicate
• Magnify business sales possible through scaling up

There are not many opportunities to do above except those online businesses.

What is needed to succeed in online business

People need to get crystal clear on what they are passionate about and match that with a lucrative business opportunity.

They need to develop the ability to overcome their inner fears, doubts and limiting beliefs to achieve their goals.

They are willing to do what it takes to achieve what they really, really, really want.

Most Newbies, would consider some of the businesses opportunities listed below.

• eBay. Sell your wares on the online auction site
• Blog for cash. You can visit blogger.com and start blogging today. Sell ads on your own site or blog for others for money. Use social media to build revenue.
• Freelance Writer. Sign up to one of the freelancer site, such elance.com, odesk.com. If you have some talent as a writer, you can make money putting togetheranything from press releases to web content for a wide variety of clients.
• Social Media Maven: Every business today needs to have a Facebook and a Twitter account. Many don’t know what to do. you come in and start them on their journety to social media stardom. you can also help them make and post YouTube videos.
• Affiliates of Other Products: Sign up to Clickbank.com, an internet advertising networks. Search for products you have knowledge and interests. Promote these in your website or people in your mailing list. Get paid a commission whenever someone purchases a product through your affiliate link.
